| Job Description: | Sr Statistician. Pharmaceutical market intelligence firm is looking for a Sr Statistician.
Principal Accountabilities:
The position will focus on the design and implementation of analytical and statistical methodologies related to longitudinal prescription data in support of market research projects for pharmaceutical clients.
longitudinal data / patient level data strongly preferred
Responsibilities include:
Developing detailed methodology and programming specifications for custom (often complex) longitudinal metrics and reports
Project management, including setting timelines, interacting with Consulting engagement manager, managing data access, leading programmers':: efforts, and reviewing program code and results
Managing the timely production and quality of weekly and/or monthly reports and responding to client questions and revisions
The position may also involve:
Statistical analysis of longitudinal metrics
Interaction with clients to develop appropriate methodologies and to assist in the presentation of results to the client
Research into new opportunities for value-added analytics, based on all of IMS':: APLD data assets
Requirements:
This position requires a BA/BS in a quantitative field with at least 4 years of related professional experience, or a Masters with 2 years of related professional experience.
Experience with longitudinal data and/or the analysis of patient-level health care data is highly desired.
Desired experience includes translating clients':: business questions into appropriate study designs and demonstrated statistical analysis of patient-level data in the pharmaceutical or health care industry.
